ŞIRNEX - Demolition has been begun in Şehit Harun Neighborhood within the scope of the "urgent exoropriation" declared by a cabinet decision. The citizens insist on not leaving their neighborhoods by reacting to the demolition.

Genocidal attacks lasted 37 days in the Silopi district of Şırnak. The Başak and Barbaros neighborhoods were demolished within the scope of the "urgent exoropriation" declared by a cabinet decision. The demolition has been begun in the Şehit Harun Neighborhood. Crawler diggers entered the neighborhood and state forces have begun to demolish the houses in the neighborhood under the name of "exoropriation".

As the families reach to the demolition, the houses around Fatih Primary School that was turned into headquarters by state forces have been demolished.

The families stated that they demanded to the district governorate to stay in their homes during Ramadan; however, the governorate gave them a negative reply. The families have continued to insist on not leaving their neighborhoods.
