The family is asked to leave the house in one week. Mother of Mehmet Tunç and Orhan Tunç said, "We won't leave our home whatever they do."

Cizre People's Assembly co-chair Mehmet Tunç and his brother Orhan Tunç were burned to death in Cizre basements by state forces. The state wants to demolish their home now. The three-storey house of Mehmet Tunç's family is wanted to be demolished despite there isn't any damage in the house. The family members reported that state forces have imposed pressure on them to leave their house and they have told that they will tear down the family's house even if the family doesn't leave.

Esmer Tunç, mother of Mehmet Tunç and Orhan Tunç, reacted to the decision by saying, "We have small children, where can we go? They already killed our children. The state burned my two sons alive and now wants to tear down my house. We won't leave our home whatever they do. If needed, we will set up tent on our house, but we won't leave our lands."
