Gule waits for go to Şırnak

ŞIRNEX - Gule İstek and her family have passed their life like travelers due to the state's policy of displacement. They have left their houses two times until now. Gule is waiting for go back to Şırnak and she reacted to not lift the curfew despite the announcement of "operation ended" in Şırnak.

Gule İstek and her family lived in the Bilmad village of Şırnak; however, they had to leave their village due to the state's pressure and moved to city center like many Kurdistan people. They left their homes, gardens, animals and all their life behind. They tried to live in the city. They returned to their village years later and began to rebuild their home in village. After they built their home in village, they began to pass their summers in the village. However, state forces began to attack Şırnak; the family had to leave the city and began to live in tent that they set up in Afet Evleri Neighborhood like other families in Yenimahalle Neighborhood. They become neighbors again in the tent city. Gule said, "We become neighbors here again. Most of us are relatives." Gule stated that they don't send their children and grandchildren to school anymore, "Do they go the school of the people those who attack us? asked Gule. A family of 12 lives in a tent. Gule said that there isn't a healthy area for them to get water and take a bath and inside of tents are hot.

Gule İstek made yogurt in dust and dirt and said, "When we returned to our village, we planted vegetables and we bought 50 goats. How do our goats feed on this dry mountain? We get a little milk now from them. We cook and live in dust and dirt. We don't receive any news about our home. I wish they demolished all the cities, but not did something to young people. The operation ended in the city; however, smoke still rises from the city. Why don't they lift the ban?
