MÊRDÎN - Women, who are in Kızıltepe, are going to Erbane (a musical instrument) course which is given in Culture and Arts Center of Şehit Eli Temel and they are putting thier feelings with this instrument. Women said that, "Erbane is the scream of women."

In culture's Kurd, Erbana is one of the most important instruments with its sound. The sound makes everyone full in love with it. Women show great interest the course in the Art and Culture Center of Şehit Eli Temel of Mardin Kızıltepe Municipality. There are 10 women who take Erbane course an hour and half in each week.

Arife Abik has come to cultural center since she was a child. Now she is giving Erbane lessons to other women. Arife said when she is giving the lessons she is getting happy and she said that, "Erbana is the scream of women. This instrument is different and precious. Erbane is one of the most precious instrıment for Kurds. I want all women to come here and learn it and learn their culture." Arife stated that they would like to improve a project with the women come to course.

Arife said that women, who have been prisoned in the homes with the male mentality, will build social fields with these programs and she said that,''When women take Erbane in their hand, they put their feelings on it, too." One of these students is Özlem Helin Kılıç stated that she wants to play Erbane due to it is a part of the Kurd culture and she wants to learn it. Özlem said, "It's been one month I've been attended to this course. I feel myself so happy whenever I play the Erbane.

Aslı Ilhan is another student in the course. She said that, "It's been 3 weeks I've been attended to this course. I want to improve myself. I also want to teach other people to do that."
