İSTANBUL – The editor of KaosGL Yıldız Tar pointed out that a deliberate policy of genocide has been carried out and therefore Orlando massacre targeted all LGBT community. Yıldız stated that homophobia and transphobia keep themselves alive in daily areas and in the massacres. Yıldız also pointed out that there was a silence after the massacre and the LGBT people were left alone.

The editor of KaosGL Yıldız Tar talked about the Orlando massacre and Trans Pride Week. Yıldız said that the attacks targeted all LGBT community and stated that this isn’t first attack on the LGBT people. Yıldız said, “Many homosexuals have been killed in different regions of Syria, Iraq and Middle East. They have been thrown down from the roofs and stoned. They are doing that systematically. Actually, a deliberate policy of genocide has been carried out against the LGBT people.

“We learned that Kaos Gl Association will be targeted several months ago. We learned that Daesh would target the Kaos Gl Association. The attack in Orlando at gay nightclub wasn’t an attack targeting 50-100 people. The attack targeted all LGBT community. They are trying to allimilate all LGBT people from the world with radical Islam hands of ISIS. We are facing with such an attack. This attack is one of the bloodiest attacks in the US.”

Yıldız noted that Turkey’s agenda was football while hated massacre occurred and Yıldız pointed out that there was a silence after the massacre and the LGBT people were left alone. Yıldız said, “LGBT people have left alone in the life. Other groups also leave alone them after massacres. The agenda of Turkey was football yesterday while many people were killed in Orlando. Left wings, opposition and different democratic groups haven’t made a statement about that yet. When the LGBT people are killed, everyone keep silent. The must offending thing is that.

Donating blood is banned many gay, bi and Trans people from giving in the United States and many regions in the world. This implementation is totally illogical, unscientific and irrational. We have experienced what will be the reasons of this implementation in Orlando massacre. People couldn’t donate blood to their friends. The homophobia and transphobia keep themselves alive in daily areas and in the massacres.

“LGBT movement should be in solidarity with Orlando by organizing activities in Turkey in Trans Pride Week and LGBT Pride Week. This attack was against all of us. We will commemorate the people those who lost their life in Orlando masscare during the Trans Pride Week and LGBT Pride Week.”
