AMED - Project of "Organic Farming Cooperative" is going to be launched in villages under the leadership of the Department of Local Economic Empowerment of Metropolitan Municipality and the Democratic Society Congress (DTK). Bahar Akyapı, who is taking part in the introduction of this project,stated that they aim is to spread this project by creating awareness.

Project of "Organic Farming Cooperative" is going to be launched in villages under the leadership of the Department of Local Economic Empowerment of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality and the Democratic Society Congress (DTK). One of these villages is the Comlaş (Daralan) village of Diyarbakır's Lice district. Bahar Akyapı is one citizen of the village. She has carried out works in Comlaş and villages around by taking part in the project. Bahar has visited villages and explained the project to the villagers one by one. Bahar said, "The range of products has increased in the villages upon the project. The people are interested in producting of potato, apricot, mint, basil, cherries, turnips and particularly walnut trees."

Bahar noted that the life in villages is more beautiful then the life in the cities. Bahar said, "We produce everything ourselves in the village. Therefore, all food is organic. Each product purchased in the cities is hormonal, it makes people sick. Meanwhile, there is nothing to do in the cities. That's why the people are stressful in the cities. Our aim is to spread this project by creating awareness. People have planted new products for two years. People plant more walnut and almond trees."
