QAMIŞLO - Kongra Star has carried out works to form women's communes for long time. Kongra Star noted that they will form new communes by turning over the present communes.

Kongra Star has formed more than 600 women's communes in Cizîr Canton until now and the members of Kongra Star have carried out works to strengthen the present communes. One of administrators of Kongra Star Nehîma Hesen stated that the development hasn't occurred at the desired level due to the people doesn't understand well the system and working style of the communes. She said that there are problems and weakness in the works of members and administrators of the coordination of communes. Therefore, as Kongra Star, they have begun to rebuild the communes in Qamişlo, Dêrik, Tirbespiyê, Til Temir and Dirbêsiyê. Nehîma stated that they will do their best to make the communes more functional.
