Support from Italian activits to Peace Mothers

ISTANBUL- Peace Mothers those who began vigil action by demanding "Freedom for the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan" and return to the negotiation table. As the action has continued, Italian activists supported the Peace Mothers this week.

Istanbul Peace Mothers Assemby members began vigil action by demanding freedom for the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan and return to the Dolmabahçe Agreement. Istanbul Peace Mothers Assemby members gathered in front of Dolmabahçe Palace on the 32nd week of the vigil. Peace Mothers carried out a silent sit down strike this week. Several Italian activists support the mothers by unfurling peace flags.

One of the Peace Mothers Gülşat Ağaç spoke after the sit down strike. Gülşat said, "Our goal is to bring the peace again. When a mother cries, I also cry. That's why I am here now. We don't want war all over the world. The lands in this world are enough for everyone. Don't let our people die."

One of the Saturday Mothers Hanife Yıldız joined the action to support the Peace Mothers. Hanife said, "Peace process must be taken out from the fridge. We don't want this war. Everyone must continue to live in peace. I call for support to these mothers."
