EFRÎN - Women are creating their solution methods against the embargo of ISIS. Firyal Hisên is one of the women those who resist against embargo with the power they get from nature. She stated that all these difficulties can be overcome with willpower and belief.

ISIS gangs' members, who cause trouble to Syrian people with support of sovereign powers, implement new inhuman practices every day. The people who are faced with great suffering, heavy siege and embargo, form their own alternative life against gangs. The people, who live in Efrîn Canton of Rojava where embargo is imposed, create solutions with their own power against all difficulties. Women those who live in Cindirêsê district of Efrîn Canton, have continued to make use of all opportunity they have despite all difficulties.

Firyal Hisên is one of the women those who resist against embargo with the power they get from nature. She stated that they cook their meals on wood fire and she said, "Efrîn has been under siege for long time. We have serious problem in meeting our needs. Therefore, we overcome the difficulties in different ways. For example the gas-filled tubes are too expensive, so we cook our meals by using woof fire. We used this method before; however, the condition was changed and we began to use gas-filled tubes. We have begun to use this method again after the embargo and siege imposed on us.

"Cooking on wood fire is quite hard and also so enjoyable. We have to wake up early in order to light the fire. I do all works with my husband due to I have health problems. Before we lived in Aleppo, then, we had to immigrate to Efrîn after our home was bombed. The YPJ (Women's Protection Units) and YPG (People's Defense Units) provide us a free life in a free country by carrying out a huge struggle. Gangs' members cannot enter our lands now. All these difficulties can be overcome with willpower and belief."
