AMED - 75 people those who departed from Diyarbakır against ongoing operations in Lice, were stopped in Abalı Police Department and detained by soldiers. 75 people were taken to Lice Gendarmerie Station. According to reports received, 75 people are being held in Lice Commando Battalion.

Yesterday, some villagers called the Democratic Regional Party (DBP) and Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Diyarbakır organizations and they reported that they didn't have security of life and they were threatened by soldiers. 75 people from the DBP and HDP departed from Diyarbakır to Silvan with 20 cars upon the call of villagers. The delegation was stopped two times along the way. They were stopped for "Violation the Security Zone" in mountainous area four-five kilometers away from Abalı Gendarmerie Station for third times. 75 people, who were waited in mountainous area for hours, were detained. The delegation was taken to Lice Gendarmerie Station. According to latest reports, 75 people are being held in Lice Commando Battalion.

One of the delegation member Silvan Municipality co-mayor Zuhal Tekiner had told that, "We departed from Diyarbakır with the DBP. We wanted to visit the villages. We wanted to go to Lice. We were stopped two times. Then, our road was blocked for third times. They blocked our road with armored vehicles. Specail forces kept us waiting. We are threatened by being detained. We have waited here since 4:00 p.m."
