Sultan Irmak sent off on an eternal journey in Silvan

AMED - Killed in Cizre's "savagery basements" Sultan Irmak was buried in Silvan.

Sultan Irmak was killed in "the first savagery basement" on January 30 during "curfew" lasted 79 days in Şırnak's Cizre district. She had remained as wounded for eight days in the basement; however, she passed away due to blocking ambulance access by state forces. Corpse of Sultan had been buried in the Yeşerdi (Gundê Cano) village of Diyarbakır's Silvan district on February 11. However, after a while, it was understood that the buried person was Derya Karahan not Sultan Irmak as result of DNA match. Corpse of Derya was taken from the village and reburied in Yeniköy Cemetery by her family. Sultan's dead body was found as a result of DNA match. Sultan had been buried in Cemetery of the Nameless in Silopi. Sultan's family took their daughter from Cemetery of the Nameless in Silopi yesterday to Diyarbakır's Bavodîn village.

Funeral ceremony organized for Sultan last night. Sultan's family members, the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Province co-chair Abdullah Eflatun, Silvan Municipality co-mayors, the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) and Democratic Regions Party (DBP) administrators and hundreds of people attended the ceremony. Sultan was buried in the cemetery of the village.
