NEWS CENTER- Sound of clashes and explosions rise from cities of Turkey after coup attempt by Turkish Armed forces. As a huge explosion occurred in Kızılay, reports say the explosion occurred near the General Staff office in Ankara. Clashes broke out around Ankara Security Directorate.

Developments, which began when Turkish Armed forces stopped the traffic from crossing the Bosphorus and announcement of “Taking control of the country” in Beylerbeyi Palace by soldiers, have continued.

Sound of explosion was heard around the Special Operations Department in Ankara’s Gölbaşı district. Reports say the explosion occurred due to bombardment by warplanes.

Sarp Border Gate in Hopa has been closed. Çapa Medical Faculty of Istanbul University hospital has been turned into military gathering area. Patients and health workers haven’t been allowed to go out from hospital.

Reports say helicopters have opened fire in the area where the building of MİT Undersecretariat is located.
