KOBANÊ - Kobanê teachers organized a march to commemorate Viyan Amara on the third anniversary of her martyrdom.

All Kobanê teachers organized a march to commemorate Vîyan Amara, who was also a teacher and fighter. The march started from the gate of the Institute martyr Vîyan Amara and continued to the cemetery of the town. Vîyan Amara and martyr Rûstem Kobanê, who were killed in Kadalê village on July 25, 2013, were commemorated on the third anniversary of their martyrdom by teachers. A teacher Cîhan Hesen made a speech in the cemetery. Cîhan pointed out the resistance of Vîyan Amara and said that: "Vîyan Amara had a resistance soul. She really loved her work. As all teachers, our duty is to organize a march for martyr Vîyan. And, we all gathered here for her."

The march ended by shouting a slogan reads, "Martyrs are immortal."
