QAMIŞLO - The teams of Heyva Sor (The red crescent of Kurds) have begun to launch investigation into the explosion in Qamişlo. Internal Affairs Council of Cizîr Canton co-chair Kenan Berakat reports that at least 50 people are dead in the explosion.

A huge explosion rocked the Xerbî Neighborhood of Cizîr Canton's Qamişlo city in the morning. A truck was detonated in the city. An oil barrel in the area also caught fire after the explosion. Internal Affairs Council of Cizîr Canton co-chair Kenan Berakat reports that at least 50 people are dead in the explosion.

As health teams have begun to recover the people under debris, the fire brigade crews have begun to put out the fire.
