Female prisoners begin hunger strike for Abdullah Öcalan

ANKARA - PKK and PJAK female prisoners in Sincar Women's Closed Prison have begun a three-day hunger strike upon the ban on the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan the right to visit, written communication and phone conversation during the course of the State of Emergency.

PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan hasn't been allowed to Imralı Delegation member since April 5, 2015. Bursa 1st Enforcement Judicature has banned the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan the right to visit, written communication and phone conversation during the course of the State of Emergency. Concerns about the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan's life and health have continued to grow. Lawyers applied to Public Prosecutor to talk with Abdullah Öcalan; however, demands of lawyers were refused. PKK and PJAK female prisoners in Sincar Women's Closed Prison have begun a three-day hunger strike for Abdullah Öcalan.
