HDP demands parliamentary investigation for Hurşit Külter

ANKARA - Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) MP Bedia Özgökçe Ertan demands parliamentary investigation for the Democratic Regions' Party (DBP) Şırnak Province administrator Hurşit Külter, who has been missing since May 27.
The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Van MP Bedia Özgökçe Ertan demanded parliamentary investigation for the Democratic Regions' Party (DBP) Şırnak Province administrator Hurşit Külter, who has been heard from for 64 days. Bedia reminded Hüseyin Toraman, who had been detained in front of his home on October 27, 1991 in Istanbul and he had been forcibly disappeared and she referred to enforced disappearances under detention. Bedia stated that the Turkish Republic should sign "the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from enforced disappearance" in order to ban the crime enforced disappearances under detention; to judge all legally responsible officials; to meet the loses of victims.
Bedia, who demanded parliamentary investigation, stated that enforced disappearance became the state's method in 1990s, "I demand parliamentary investigation for Hurşit Külter, who was detained and hasn't been heard from him since then in order to prevent the possible enforced disappearances."
