Freedom vigil continues for 10 day

AMED - "Freedom vigil" launched in Diyarbakır under the leadership of the DBP (The Democratic Regions Party), HDP (The Peoples' Democratic Party) and KJA (the FreeWomen's Congress) to protest the ongoing isolation imposed upon the PKK (The Kurdistan Worker's Party) leader Abdullah Öcalan has continued in the 10th day.
"Freedom vigil" which has been begun to lift the isolation imposed upon the PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan under the leadership of the DBP, HDP and KJA, has continues in the 10th day in Diyarbakır with the participation of citizens in the Rojava Park. Citizens unfurled banners read, "The isolation in Imrali must be end" and "We don't want civilian and military coup, we want radical democracy" in the vigil and the DBP flags were carried. Administrators and representatives of civil organizations also take their part in the protest. The vigil continued until midnight even if armored vehicles blockaded the park.
After the end of the vigil, the DBP Diyarbakır co-chair Abdullah Eflatun made a statement. Abdullah noted that they will continue to hold the vigil to the end. Abdullah pointed out that state forces don't allow people to bury the YPS-JIN (The Civil Protection Units) member Pervin Taşçı (nom de guerre Berjîn Amargî) in Diyarbakır, our vigil to protest this application continues in the Yenişehir Cemetery. Abdullah called on everyone to join the vigil.
