COLEMÊRG - Shopkeepers have protest the the bill proposes to downgrade Hakkari province to districts by closing their shops.

The AKP government presented a bill to Tukish Parliament to change the administrative status of Hakkari province. The shopkeepers have protest the bill by closing their shops. According to this bill, Hakkari province will be downgraded to district and renamed as Çölemerik.

All shops have been closed in the city except bakeries and pharmaces.
