Volunteer citizens' works to help Yüksekova people began after the siegeimposed in the Yüksekova (Gever) district of Hakkari, have continued. One of these volunteer citizens Adile Kutlar, teacher of KURDÎ-DER, stated that they have concentrated more attention on works due to the feast of the sacrifice. Adile said, "We are planning to reach the aids to families by determining their needs. We'll give toys to children in the feast of the sacrifice in order to make them forget the war they faced a little bit. We need young and volunteer people to help us. We are calling from here; Take on responsibility and help us to reach the aids to families."
