'As women, we'll rebuild our cities'

ADANA- Women's principal agenda will be the freedom of the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan within the scope of campaign titled, "I stand up for my Leader, Land and Freedom" launched under the leadership of the KJA (Free Women's Congress) for six months. Women will raise their works to rebuild cities, where genocidal attacks carried out.
The Free Women's Congress (KJA) launched a campaign titled "I stand up for my Leader, Land and Freedom" to protest the ongoing isolation upon the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan and rebuild cities demolished during genocidal attacks. The KJA Adana components have prepared a six-month program and according to this program, women's principal agenda will be the freedom of the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan. Women also do planning of solidarity works with the motto "Everywhere is a country" within the scope of the campaign.
The KJA member Medine Gümüş stated that they set a commission of six people and they don't confine the campaign just for six months. Medine said, "We'll show our struggle against fascistic attitudes by standing up for our leadership and women's stance." Medine also stated that they'll carry out the solidarity of "Sibling Families" campaign and said, "We'll launch a support campaign soon for pillaged and demolished cities such as Gever, Sur, İdil, Nusaybin and Cizre. We'll work to encourage more participation of women and non-governmental organizations in this campaign. We'll carry out works to rebuild our cities from neighborhood to neighborhood."
Medine emphasized the importance of the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan for women and said, "Women have enlarged their freedom struggle thanks to the perspectives of Mr.Abdullah Öcalan. We stand up for our leadership and as women, we don't keep silent against aggravated isolation upon our leadership."
