MANBIJ -Yesterday, a child stepped on a landmine laid by ISIS in Manbij and died while trying to go to safe area with his family. Many civilians were injured due to mine explosion.
ISIS atrocity in Manbij has destroyed the life of people, particularly children. Children run scared when they hear ISIS. Yesterday, a 10-year-old child stepped on a landmine laid by ISIS and died while trying to go safe area with his family. The landmine injured the child's father and many civilians. Manbij Military Council fighters came to the people's aid. Meanwhile, a child named Muhammed, who lost his family in the same day, has been taken under protection by Sems-i Simal fighters. This situation summarizes the diffirence between ISIS and freedom fighters.
Muhammed said, "I went out to buy something and an ISIS member caught me and didn't let me go. He treated me very bad. Then, war broke out and they left me and run. After a while, Sems-i Simal fighters found me. We don't want ISIS here because they torture us. They burned everything and they didn't leave anything behind them. They laid landmines. They beat women. They left people hungry. They kill and behead people. But, we'll win not ISIS."
