AMED - Saliha Aydeniz, co-chair council member of the Democratic Society Congress (DTK), noted that no one has been able to make contact with the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan in the recent year except the CPT; however, the CPT hasn’t made any explanation so far and that’s unacceptable. Saliha said that everybody should take action against the isolation for their future.

Saliha Aydeniz, co-chair council member of the Democratic Society Congress (DTK), indicated that the aggravated plot towards the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan is unacceptable for Kurdish people and Saliha said their next target is freedom for Abdullah Öcalan. Saliha said, “Mr. Öcalan has right to produce ideas and struggle should be carried out for this right. Mr. Öcalan’s freedom should be directly targeted.”

Saliha said that there is an ongoing coup and state of emergency situation in Kurdistan by reminding that Turkey, which is the country of the coups, has faced with a new coup mechanics. Saliha noted that the ideas of the PKK Leader are important for build the future: “Agreement of the solution has been abrogated due to the ambition of “being power alone”. The President, who doesn’t recognize this important document, has slid the country into chaos. He has blocked all dialogs following imposing isolation upon Kurdish people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan.”

Saliha said that no news has been received from the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan since April 5, 2015 and the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (CPT) delegation is the last delegation, who has visited the island. Saliha emphasized that the silent of CPT is unacceptable and the CPT should make an immediate explanation by considering Kurdish people’s concerns.

Saliha noted that, “Kurdish people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan is the peoples’ future.” And she called on everybody to take action for the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
