ŞIRNEX - Co-mayors of İdil and Kulp have been detained.

Nevin Oymak Girasun, co-mayor of Şırnak's İdil district municipality and Sadiye Süer, co-mayor of Diyarbakır's Kulp district municipality have been taken into custody. Special operations forces conducted house raid on Nevin Oyman Girasun's home last night. After searching home for hours, Nevin was taken custody. As the reason for her detention is not yet known, Nevin was taken to District Police Departmen.

Diyarbakır's Kulp district co-mayor Sadiye Sürer was taken into custody with the DBP (Democratic Regions Party) co-chair Fatih Taş and Tamer Eren in house raid. The detainees were taken to Kulp Police Department.

12 people have been detained in Ergani

12 people, including Ergani Municipality co-mayor Gülistan Polat, have been detained in operation begun at the weekend. 12 people have been held in Ergabi Police Department.
