MANBIJ- Female commander of Manbij operation Rengin Xalya Nimed stated that women's forces were effective in the victory of operation and they will make these forces permanent.

"Operation Martyr and Commander Faysal Abu Leyla" begun on June 1 by Manbij Military Council, finalized with victory on August 12. Female fighters in Manbij Military fighters were very effectives in liberation of city. Female commander of Manbij operation Rengin Xalya Nimed told JINHA about women's role in the operation and their works to be carried out.

Rengin Xalya began to talk by giving congratulatory message for the liberation of Manbij. Rengin said: "We launched the Operation Martyr and Commander Faysal Abu Leyla to liberate the city and areas around the city. The operation was finalized by liberating the city. We present this victory in particularly to our martyrs and then to Manbij people and women. Of course, this victory achieved success very difficult. Many our friends fell martyrs. As we mentioned many times, women's efforts and sacrifice will not be forgotten. Heval (Heval: means "friend" in Kurdish language. The fighters are called as Heval) Koçerin, Dilpak, Sema, Rojbin and dozens of women were the owners of this sacrifice. Actually, these women fighters were at the fore this war and they determined their fate, I mean they didn't only joined the war. So, we say that first of all, this victory is the victory of women. As female fighters in Manbij Military council, we promise our martyrs that we'll form Manbij women's forces soon and we'll declare the forces name soon."
