ÇÊWLÎG - 14-year-old child was repeatedly subjected to sexual assault by a man named İ.A in Bingöl's Genç district. As İ.A. has been arrested and sent to prison, the father of İ.A. threatened the child to drop the change and said to the child, "We are relatives, these things happen."

Sexual abuse and assault crimes have been increasingly continued because the government doesn't impose sanction against such crimes. In Bingöl's Genç district, 14-year-old child was repeatedly subjected to sexual assault by a man named İ.A. The child lives with grandparents due to the child's parents have physical and mental disabilities. According to report, the man threatened the child by saying, "You don't have parents, If I take you, nobody will say something," and he sexually abused the child.

The child reported that 28-year-old married and father of one İ.A. abducted her and sexually abused her last year. The child also reported that she tried to run away from the man; however, she couldn't. The child stated that she couldn't report that because she was scared. Later, the man sent text to the child, the child said, "He sent her text and wrote, 'If you don't come, I will get you pregnant. I will come to your home and take you there.' He continuously threatened me. I begged him to stop; however he didn't listen to me. I couldn't stand anymore and I told my relatives. We went to the police department. İ.A. was arrested and sent to prison after my testimony."

The father of İ.A. threatened the child to drop the change against his son and said to the child, "We are relatives, these things happen." The witnesses interviewed in the district reported that the child and her family have been subjected to threats and violence by the man's family.
