HESEKÊ – Clashes in Hesekê continue. As many points of regime have been seized, many regime soldiers have surrender to the YPG forces. Meanwhile, one more civilian, who wounded in the air strike of regime forces, passed away.

The clashes began after regime forces and its paramilitary ‘muqanayin’ forces attacked the Rojava Asayish center on august 16 in Hesekê. After the regime forces bombarded civil areas with planes yesterday, clashes broke out in Mesakin and Neşwa Şerqî neighborhoods and Merşo Gas station and city center.

According to Hawar News Agency (ANHA), the bombardment of regime forces with fighter jets towards civilians continued late into last night. Regime forces fired mortar on the neighborhoods under the control of the People's Defense Units (YPG) and Asayish forces. Clashes have continued in some parts of the city.

Death toll rise to two

A woman lost her life and many civilians were injured yesterday during the air strike of the regime forces. Mihemed Seîd Ebdulxenî (42), who was seriously wounded in the air strike, passed away in Selam Hospital in Qamişlo.
