DÎLOK – Nine-month-old baby was sexually assaulted in Antep.

A Syrian family those who work as farm worker in Antep’s Islahiye district took their baby to hospital. The doctors in Islahiye State Hospital confirmed that the baby was raped. A 19-year-old man, who allegedly sexually assaulted the baby and has been taken into custody in the district.

Recently, Sexual assaults against refugee children in camps of İslahiye were reported. BirGün daily reported that five Syrian children were sexually assaulted in a camp for refugees affiliated to the district’ Disaster and Emergency Management (AFAD). The president of the camp Ali Kılıç resigned after the incident was revealed.
