NEWS CENTER- Angers against the bomb attack in Antep which left 54 citizens, including 30 children, dead have continued to be expressed by citizens, NOGs representatives and politicians in many cities and districts.

DİYARBAKIR

Kayapınar Municipality stuff organized a five-minute sit down in order to commemorate those who lost their lives in the bomb attack in Antep. Co-mayors and council members also jointed the sit down.

A press statement was released in Diyarbakır’s Ergani district led by the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) and Democratic Regions Party (DBP). Co-mayor Ramazan Kartalmış, the DBP, HDP district co-chairs and members, NOGs representatives and many citizens attended in the press statement. After standing in silence for those who lost their lives in the attacks, the DBP District co-chair Ramazan Aslan made the statement and he stated that the AKP is responsible for the massacres.

Yenişehir Municipality and All Bel-Sen Diyarbakır Branch (All Municipalities Union) released a press statement in order to condemn the massacre.

MARDİN

The HDP and DBP administrators, Peace Mothers, co-mayors and many people released a press statement in front of the DBP office in Mardin’s Nusaybin district.

URFA

A press statement was released in Urfa’s Halfeti district in order to condemn the massacre in Antep under the leadership of the HDP, DBP and KJA (Free Women’s Congress). The HDP Urfa MP Dilek Öcalan and Halfeti Municipality co-mayors Ayşe Durmuş and Mustafa Bayram also attended the press statement. The HDP Halfeti co-chair Fatma Korkmaz said, “We will not stay silent against massacres and attacks on our people and we will raise our struggle.”
