İSTANBUL –Former Co-Editor in Chief of the closed Özgür Gündem daily, Eren Keskin, has been sent to the court for arrest over charges of “making propaganda of a terrorist organization” and “disrupting unity and territorial integrity of the state”.

Former Co-Editor in Chief of the closed Özgür Gündem daily and lawyer Eren Keskin had been summoned to testify following the closure of Özgür Gündem. She went to Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan today. Eren has been sent to the court for arrest over charges of “making propaganda of a terrorist organization” and “disrupting unity and territorial integrity of the state” after being questioned by Press Prosecutor Umut Tepe.

The prosecutor’s request for arrest was protested in the courthouse by shouting slogan, “Eren Keskin is our honor”.
