AMED – Curfew, which was imposed in six neighborhoods of Sur since December 2, 2015, has been lifted except Sur walls.

Curfew, which was declared on December 2, 2015 in the Sur district of Diyarbakır, then lifted in some neighborhoods but continued to be imposed in six neighborhoods, has been lifted. The statement made by Sur District Governorate reads, “Curfew has been lifted in all streets, which are outside of historical walls, of the Cevatpaşa, Fatihpaşa, Dabanoğlu, Hasırlı, Cemal Yılmaz and Savaş neighborhoods starting Saturday at 7 a.m.”
