Life starts again in Manbij following the liberation

MANBIJ – Manbij people are returning to Manbij following the liberation of the city. Investigation has been begun for reopening schools in Manbij with the support of Democratic Society and Education Committee.
Manbij was completely liberated from ISIS on August 15 by Manbij Military Council after clashes lasted 74 days. Manbij people, who had been forced to leave their homes, are returning to the city and rebuilding their city. The people first cleaned their streets with a communal work and opened their workplaces. People have worked with Manbij Civil Assembly to have a normal life.
Schools to be reopened
Investigation has been begun for reopening the schools in Manbij with the support of Democratic Society and Education Committee and Manbij Civil Assembly. The damage in schools has been determined. ISIS banned children to go to schools and schools had been turned into headquarters by ISIS.
Manbij Civil Assembly members say that they have checked the schools and determined the damage in the schools in order to finalize their work and reopen the schools. Meanwhile, education committee and assembly members met the teachers. The teachers state they are ready for new school year.
The schools have been aimed to be reopened until September 14.
