ISTANBUL - The Free Journalists Association (ÖGC) launches "Volunteer Correspondents" solidarity campaign for jailed, detained colleagues. Peace Mothers have become "Volunteer Correspondents" for JINHA today. Peace Mothers attended the newsroom meeting in the morning.

The Free Journalists Association (ÖGC) has begun to launch “Volunteer Correspondents” solidarity campaign for jailed, detained journalists. Today Peace Mothers Perihan Akbulut and Güler Buğday have become "Volunteer Correspondents" for JINHA. Perihan and Güler attended the newsroom meeting and gave suggestions for today’s agenda about peace. Perihan stated that an all-women agency is hopeful, “I feel excited when I learn there are only women in JINHA. We just ask for peace, we want to follow peace.”

Güler said, “The Kurdish people have suffered a lot. We have always faced to massacre but the state should know very well that they cannot intimidate us.”

Meanwhile, journalish Ceyda Karan has become "Volunteer Correspondent" for Dicle News Agency (DİHA) today.
