ERZURUM – At least 40 members of the DBP (Democratic Regions' Party) and HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) and İHD (Human Rights Association) have been detained in Erzurum.

Special forces conducted house raids in Erzurum city center, Qereçoban (Karaçoban) dictrict and villages. At least 40 people have been detained in the house raids. The detained citizens have been reported to be taken to Fire Department Indoor Sport Hall.

The names of detained 31 people are as follows; “the HDP District administrator Mahmut Polat, the İHD administrator Yavuz Karabudak, the DTK (Democratic Society Congress) delegate Nevzat Çavuş, Ali Rıza Erçek, Cevat Erçek, Nadir Köse, Şakir Köse, Abdullah Gündüz, Nesim Gür, Veysel Karabulak, Gıyasetttin Çağlar, Salih Çağlar, Zübeyr Uğun, Halit Uğun, İhsan Kaçar, Ali Yiğit, Mehmet Reşat Karagöz, Mustafa Uğun, Şakir Aydın, Engin Kuş, Hindistan Beyazduman, Sertif Gündüz, Nasır İnce, İhsan Uğun, Fetullah Güney, Fahrettin Sönmez, Mahmut Akbacak, Abdulkadir Mızrak, Şemsettin Çubuk, Kerem Çalaş and Mithat Kaçar."
