Two youth killed in Kobanê buried

KOBANÊ - Bozan Ehmed and Ehmed Hesen, who were killed by Turkish soldiers while holding vigil on Kobanê border, were buried.

Turkish soldiers had opened fire on Kobanê people whose who held a vigil against the construction of wall. Two youth named Bozan Ehmed (17) and Ehmed Hesen (16) had been killed by Turkish soldiers. Two youth were buried in Martyr Dicle Cemetery in Termik village. Thousands of people attended the ceremony of two youth.

A military ceremony was held by members of Erka Xweparastinê (Self Defense Military). The Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) Kobanê co-chair Ayşe Efendi called for raising the resistance and said, “Kobanê didn’t surrender to the colonial powers and it won’t. Turkish state attacked us with armored vehicles and heavy weapons while we were resisting by using stones. These two young people resisted by using stones. But the fire in their heart makes them stronger than occupants. Our resistance will continue. Long live the peoples’ resistance.”

After the speech, two young people were buried with prayers and slogans.
