Women take their part in the hunger strike

AMED – An indefinite - irreversible hunger strike demanding access to the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan has begun in Diyarbakır. 18 women, who took to the streets under the leadership of the KJA with the motto, “I reclaim my Leader, Land and Freedom”, have joined the hunger strike.
There are 18 women among 50 people who have begun the indefinite - irreversible hunger strike demanding access to the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan launched by the DTK (Democratic Society Congress), HDK (Peoples' Democratic Congress), KJA (Free Women's Congress), DBP (Democratic Regions' Party) and HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party). The women took to the streets under the leadership of the KJA with the motto, “I reclaim my Leader, Land and Freedom”, have joined the hunger strike. As women’s actions and demand have continues, 18 women have taken their part in the hunger strike.
