TIL TEMIR - The Rojava-Northern Syria Democratic Federal System Constituent Assembly founding member Eyistan Xelef evaluated the occupation plans towards Rojava and she said, “The only solution takes a stand against invaders is the federal system. We’ll inflict defeat the occupying powers with this system.”

As Turkey’s occupation operation in Şehba region of Northern Syria launched on July 24 by entering Jarablus, has continued, the reaction of people in the region has continued to rise. The Rojava-Northern Syria Democratic Federal System Constituent Assembly founding member Eyistan Xelef talked to JINHA about the cause and effect the occupation and she said the unity of people would frustrate the invasion.

Eyistan indicated that the liberation of Manbij,one of the most important cities of Şehba, was an important step and she said Turkey and its backed gangs tackled the invasion in order to frustrate this historic step. Eyistan said, “Jarablus is an important place as strategic. Gangs members used there as crossing route. The victory in Manbij broke the plan of the occupants. Therefore, they made a deal between themselves and handed over the Jarablus.”

Eyistan noted that the main attack was against the Rojava-Northern Syria Democratic Federal System and she said those who didn’t want the Kurds and other peoples to govern themselves collaborated. Eyistan indicated that Ba'ath regime- Turkey and Iran were targeting the peoples’ achievement by making a conspiracy deal between each other, “The sovereign states in the region made a deal in order to annihilate the Kurds and peoples. They have begun to occupy by using or supporting paramilitary forces. They get together with their joint point that is hostility against the system of the Kurds. They are targeting the Rojava-Northern Syria Democratic Federal System. The attacks are still continuing and the attacks of Turkey and regime forces are targeting the civilians. They are afraid of our system.

“The people trust the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) for freedom; however, the purpose of Turkish state is to disrupt the unity of the people, that’s why they are heading their gangs to Bab. However, this will not be easy. Turkey gets into a dilemma as occupant.”

Eyistan expressed that the Middle East and Syria policy of Turkey is its last gasp, “They are trying to choke Rojava and the Kurds by using every trick; however, they won’t succeed. The occupation policy of Turkey is a danger for all peoples in Syria. People want to live in this system and we’ll defeat the occupants. People will stay forever in this region not invaders.”
