QAMIŞLO – A hunger strike has been launched in Qamişlo in order to end the isolation imposed upon the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan under the leadership of women and youth.

Hunger strikes have been launched in Europe and cities of Kurdistan against the isolation upon the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan. The hunger strike in Rojava has been begun today under the leadership of women and youth. The rotating hunger strike will be continued until September 13 by family members of those who lost their life in Rojava resistance. Welîde Botî from Konreya Star said they would continue their actions until a line of communication is provided with Abdullah Öcalan by pointing to the isolation upon Abdullah Öcalan.
