WAN – Women, who react to killing of civilians on Rojava border by Turkey, said, “As Kurdish people, we may be divided into four parts by states; however, we’ll continue our struggle for lands with spirit of October 6-8 when our children liberated the lands at the risk of their lives.”
Turkey has begun to work with the Free Syrian Army (FSA) against the achievements of the Kurds and it has continued to attack villages of Kobanê, Bab, Jarablus by targeting civilians. Women, who react to Turkey’s attacks on civilians on Kobanê border, said the Kurds can unite against the attacks on their lands, identity and language.
Ayşe Talay expressed that Rojava people weren’t alone by stating Turkey should immediately leave Rojava. Ayşe noted that Kurdish people are subjected to the same atrocity in four parts by the states; “We are fighting for our lands. We are carrying out a war for our rights. We want our identity and language and we are fighting to take these and we will continue to fight.”
Aliye Güneş pointed out that the Kurdish people should rise against the atrocity of the state, “We’ll stand up for our children and our Leadership. I hope we will succeed with a great revolution. The Kurdish people should rise and stand up for their lands. They shouldn’t accept the atrocity of the state anymore. As Van people, we’ll repel the attacks on Kobanê with the spirit of resistance as we did on October 6-8.”
Nazime Üçoş stated that the Kurdish people hadn’t bowed down to any cruelty for 40 years; “Iran, Iraq, Europe and Turkey cannot keep us from our just cause. Today, we have borders with Kobanê and Jarablus; however, the Kurdish people continue to live in four parts. Turkey is unhappy with the YPG that liberated those lands from gangs. As Kurdish people, we may be divided into four parts by states; however, we know how to unite if there is an attack on our language, identity and lands.”
Delal Öcak condemned the Turkish soldiers’ attacks on civilians with armored vehicles and TOMA (Intervention Vehicle to Social Events) on Kobanê border and said, “Turkish soldiers, who attacked civilians on Kobanê border with their tanks and weapons, should know very well that: We lost our children in order to liberate those lands. The state should stop imposing atrocity on the Kurdish people. The state didn’t take even a step while the Kurdish people were subjected to massacres of ISIS on October 6-8 in Kobanê. The Kurdish people in four parts of Kurdistan gathered and saved Kobanê from the attacks of ISIS. As Kurdish people, we exhibit a historic resistance when we rise. The state should withdraw its forces from the border.”
