NEWS CENTER- KNK (Kurdistan National Congress) co-chair Nilüfer Koç noted that Turkish state began the occupation operation because they understood they couldn’t fight against the Kurds by using only ISIS and El Nusra following the achievements of the Kurds in Kobanê and Manbij. Nilüfer said that Turkish state had launched the Jarablus operation against the deal of the Kurds with Arabs.

KNK (Kurdistan National Congress) co-chair Nilüfer Koç issued statements in relation to Rojava, the isolation imposed upon the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan and attacks against the achievements of the Kurds. Nilüfer pointed out that the greatest danger was the policy that imposed isolation upon Abdullah Öcalan by Turkey and this situation is a war launched against the Kurds. Nilüfer announced that as the KNK they supported the actions against the isolation upon the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan and occupation policies of Turkey.

Nilüfer stated that there were clashes and war in Kurdistan and the only solution was to return to the resolution process. Nilüfer indicated that the Kurds have carried out a struggle in four parts of Kurdistan in order to have their rights, “The Kurds should lead to overcome this situation. Federal structure has been emerged in Başur Kurdistan (South Kurdistan) following the changes in the Middle East. Opportunities has presented for the Kurds in Rojava Kurdistan as a result of the collapse of the Ba'ath regime and the war against ISIS. Although nevertheless Turkey has fought against the Kurds with ISIS in Rojava Kurdistan, the Kurds have achieved success in Kobanê and Manbij. Turkish state began the occupation operation because they understood they couldn’t fight against the Kurds by using only ISIS and El Nusra following the achievements of the Kurds in Kobanê and Manbij. Therefore, they have made a deal with Iran and Syria. They fought against the Kurds with Iran in Hasekê in order to prevent the federation in Syria. The Algeria Agreement carried out in Başur Kurdistan is repeated in Rojava Kurdistan.”

In relation to the operation launched against Jarablus by Turkey, Nilüfer said, “That’s a new process and the USA has accepted Turkey to become official in Jarablus. But this process is against the interests of the Kurds. The achievements in Syria aren’t against any countries or Turkey. They are the best solution in current situation. But Turkey doesn’t allow the formation of autonomous or independent in this region because they have a structure based on massacres. Iran and Turkey want to make a deal against the Kurds and we should understand that the deals against Rojava Kurdistan are against all Kurds. Kurdish people should be unity against these deals. No one can occupy Rojava Kurdistan.”

Nilüfer said that the KNK has an effect on Rojava Kurdistan and she underlined that the parties in Başur Kurdistan should provide unity between themselves and solve the current contradictions. Nilüfer said, “Everyone should know very well that the contradictions between parties are the benefit of Turkey and Iran. We are calling on Başur Kurdistan people to put the pressure on politicians or some parties will be guilty in the history.”
