AMED – The Free Women’s Congress (KJA) member organizations protested trustee appointments and said; “Only people can withdraw the administrators elected by them.”

The Free Women’s Congress (KJA) member organizations held a press conference in the office of the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Sur to protest the trustee appointments to the municipalities governed by the DBP. The Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Sur District co-chair Sedriye Sular emphasized that the AKP government’s purpose is to disband all opponent groups following attempted coup. Sadiye said that those who write the script that no different from Hitler period seize the elected municipalities by the people. Sadiye expressed they didn’t recognize the appointed trustees and said; “Only people can withdraw the administrators elected by them. As Kurdish women, we have suffered for years. We haven’t left the dignified life despite all pains and we haven’t bowed down. We will continue to keep our word for our martyrs and lands from where we were forcibly displaced.”
