AMED – Diyarbakır 4th International Photography Days will take place from October 14-16. Member of DİFAK Zeynep Bozarslan stated that photograph archives would contribute greatly to the formation of community memory and she said women show a great interest in the photographs.

Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality and Diyarbakır Amateur Photographers’ Association (DİFAK) will be held the Diyarbakır 4th International Photography Days, which will take place from October 14-16. The topic of the days is, “freedom”. As workshops have been carried out before the activity, the Multimedia Workshop was hold between September 23 and 26. , the Multimedia Workshop aims to compose the visual record of the struggle for existence in war environment in Diyarbakır.

Meanwhile, the second workshop will be carried out from October 12-13 and the conceptual art workshop will be carried out from September 30 to October 2. Furthermore, the portfolio reading of John Stanmeyer will be organized October 10-11 and the portfolio reading of Shahidul Alam will be organized on October 14.

DİFAK member Zeynep Bozarslan, who stated that photograph archives would contribute greatly to the formation of community memory, said that many photographers from other countries will attend the activity. Zeynep invited all women, who interested in photograph.
