NEWS CENTER- Men killed 24 women, sexually assaulted five children and inflicted violence on six women in September.

We collected the reports from news sites, newspaper and news agencies. According to these reports, men killed 24 women, sexually assaulted five children and inflicted violence on six women in September. Nine of killed women were killed by men, who were their close relatives. Seven of them were liked during clashes broke out by state forces. Meanwhile, men inflicted violence on six women and one woman was subjected to sexual torture in custody.

The assaults against trans women has increased in September. As a trans woman was forced to leave her home in Istanbul, five trans women were subjected to transphobic assaults in Ankara.

%37, 5 women were killed because they wanted to divorce or separate from their husbands or their partners. %29 women were killed with bullets fired by state forces.

In the first nine months of 2016, men killed at least 189 women, sexually assaulted 316 children and inflicted violence on 238 women.
