ADANA – Our reporter Filiz Zeyrek, who was tried for attending a march against drugs in Adana, has been sentenced to 15 months in prison, the court decides to delay the pronouncement of judgment.

Our reporter Filiz Zeyrek, who was tried for attending the march, took place in 2013, against drugs in Adana with the motto, “No to drugs, prostitution, assimilation and forced being agent”. The trial of JINHA reporter Filiz Zeybek took place today. Filiz has been sentenced 10 months in prison for “making propaganda of an [illegal] organization” and five months for “opposing of Law No. 2911 on Meetings and Demonstrations”. The court decides to delay the pronouncement of judgment.
