AMED – Diyarbakır young and old people gathered for the grape harvest and they made grape pulp and sausage.

Elderly people Unit affiliated to the Social Services Department of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality continue to meet young and old people in order to increase the cultural transfer between them. Young and old people gathered in the Karpuzlu Neighborhood of Diyarbakır’s Ergani district for the grape harvest. They boiled the grape juice on wood fire. The slurry created with flour was poured on white clothes and put under the sun for making grape pulp. Meanwhile, the young people strung walnut kernel and put them in the boiled juice for making grape sausage.
