WAN – The vigil held by the press laborers of Van TV and Doğu Radyo (East Radio) has entered in the its seventh day. “Maybe, we cannot be the voice of people now but we just put a comma. We’ll return,” said the press laborers.

The press laborers of Van TV and Doğu Radyo, which were shut down in accordance with statutory decree (KHK), has been holding a vigil for seven days in order to protest the closure of Van TV and Doğu Radyo. As the vigil continues with solidarity visits in front of the office of Van TV in the Süphan Neighborhood of Van’s İpekyolu district, the press laborers said, “Maybe, we cannot be the voice of people now but we just put a comma. We’ll return.”
