Êzidi people, who migrated to the Kîwexê (Mağra) village of Mardin’s Midyat district in 1988, celebrated the feast of Cemayi ya Şex Adi after years. Êzidi people walked around Qub ü Helele Şex Adi Tomb in bare feet and read the pray called Diroze and Evare. They wished peace in the region. Êzidi people put the firewood in the tomb.

Member of the Êzidî Women’s Assembly in Germany, Micewir Mecbure Taş Dündar came to village for the feast. She said her family was responsible for the Qub ü Helele Şex Adi Tomb; however, the tomb has been gone to ruin after her family migrated to Germany in 1987. Micewir assumes this responsibility and after three-year renovations, they celebrate the feast of Cemayi ya Şex Adi in the Qub ü Helele Şex Adi Tomb.

Micewir stated that the symbols of sun, moon and six-pointed star at the top of the doom are holy for Êzidî people and these symbols were banned once upon a time. She said they rebuilt these symbols in accordance with the philosophy of Êzidî.

Êzidî people, who came from many countries of Europe, said they would celebrate the feast of Cemayi ya Şex Adi in the Qub ü Helele Şex Adi Tomb every year.
