Şervin Karakoç, co-mayor of Ovakışla (Pirxûs) in the Ahlat district of Bitlis province, was arrested by police yesterday evening in front of her house. Şervin was taken to the provincial police station. When her lawyers headed to the police station to learn the reason for her arrest, they were told that the document was “confidential” and denied information.
