COLEMÊRG – In Yüksekova, an explosion took place in an area where children were playing, killing one child and wounding two others.

In Yüksekova, in Hakkari province, an explosion took place at an area where children were playing in the Cumhuriyet neighborhood near Vali Erdoğan Gürbüz Primary School. Three children were seriously wounded in the explosion and taken to the Yüksekova State Hospital. Umut Ayvalık, 10, passed away in the hospital.

The condition of the two other wounded children remains critical. A police blockade surrounds the hospital area as children’s relatives head for the hospital.
