The HDP&DBP co-chairs detained in Muş

NEWS CENTER- As police have conducted house raids in Muş and Dersim, the HDP and DBP co-chairs have been detained in Muş.
In the morning, simultaneous police raids were carried out on the houses of the HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) and DBP (Democratic Regions Party) administrators in Muş city center. The HDP Muş Province Co-chair Ayşe Söylemez, the DBP Province Co-chair Hatice Şeker and member of the municipal council Çiçek Tutuş were taken into custody in the raids. As Kurdish politicians were taken to the Provincial Security Directorate, the reason for detentions is known yet. Meanwhile, police raided the offices of the HDP and DBP following the house raids, the search in the offices has been reported to continue.
House raids in Dersim
Police conducted simultaneous house raids in the morning in Dersim. As Nazlı Çelik and Ali Ülüfer were taken into custody in the raids, two citizens named Bedri Akyol and Ferhat Güven were summoned to testify. The reason of the raids is unknown.
The HDP Özalp Co-chairs released
Meanwhile, the HDP Özalp Co-chairs Recep Ceylancı and Sema Çaygeç, who were taken into custody in the political genocide operations against the HDP on October 12 in the Özalp district of Van, were released after being questioned in Provincial Security Directorate. The DBP District Co-chair Aslı Kaymaz was dispatched to Anti-Terror Team (TEM) branch in Van.
