AMED –After the curfew, which was declared in the villages between the Lice-Kocaköy-Hazro triangle, the communication with many villages of Lice has been cut off.
Yesterday, Diyarbakır Governorate declared a curfew in 14 villages of Lice, Kocaköy and Hazro district. The curfew has been imposed in Lice’s Çağdaş, Yolçatı, Uçarı, Çağdaş, Kayacık, Ortaç, Çavundur, Dolunay, Yalaza, Bağlan and Kabakaya villages; Hazro’s Çiftlikbahçe and Sarıerik villages and Kocaköy’s Boyunlu and Gözebaşı villages since yesterday and military operations were launched in these villages. The helicopters bombarded the rural area of Lice’s Mîşirf (Bağlan) village and the village was blockaded by hundreds of soldiers and village guards were reportedly taken into the operation region.
According to reports received, soldiers stay in the Nenyas (Ortaç) village of Lice and citizens haven’t allowed going out of their homes. As there have been problems with phone and internet networks in Lice city center since last night, the communication with many banned villages have been completely cut off.
